What’s next?

The whole idea of TEDx is to spread the message to as many as possible. After all, TED’s slogan is Ideas worth spreading.

Now you can be a part of TEDx while also helping TEDxStockholm become the world’s biggest TEDx event!

We are not going to achieve this by holding a gigantic TEDxStockholm event with 1,000 participants but by having a large number of TEDx events in and around Stockholm during an entire week. So that the word about TED can spread – for real.

Our goal is that at least 15 different TEDx events will be held in the same week in the Stockholm region. If we can achieve this, then it will be unique.

And remember – you can organize one of these TEDx events!

Your event can be a cozy affair with seven or eight friends watching TEDTalks at home, followed by some good food and even better discussion.

Or you can invite a world-leading speaker to inspire a large audience.

Both ways are just as right as each other.

Both are just as much a TEDx event.

We at TEDxStockholm have organized both kinds of events.

So – which TEDx type would suit you?

Use Facebook to invite your friends.
Perhaps they are friends you haven’t seen in a while – so grab the chance to meet up!

Or maybe you want to invite your closest friends who are not yet familiar with the TED concept.

One thing is sure: it could be an inspiring evening with inspiring friends watching inspiring TEDTalks.

The TEDxStockholm week starts on 17 April 2010 and finishes a week later with a larger event.

Choose a suitable date during that week. It can be a weekday or weekend; evening or daytime; at work, home or in rented premises.

If all TED fans in the Stockholm region put aside a few hours under the TEDxStockholm week to invite their friends to participate in a TEDx event, then it could be huge.
